2022 was a very special year and as we sit here and write this it is with a little humility and a great deal of thanks to you our customers old and new.
We have been successful in gaining several new large contracts including two 5* hotels both of which we very pleased to say were obtained by word of mouth, that’s the sort of referral we strive for constantly. Another area seeing a surprisingly large area of growth has been the increased activity in the pressure washing and graffiti removal and this is again being driven by existing customers expanding their option to use our services in addition to the window cleaning we carried out for them. Bundling in action ask us how it works to save you money.
It has all added up to a tremendous 45% increase in sales turnover which goes to show we must be doing something right, actually we must be doing a lot of things right. In order to service this new volume we have recruited 4 new members of staff 3 full time cleaning operatives and 1 part time admin support. They are all very welcome and needed. In addition Sophie returned from maternity leave, (welcome little Nathan) we missed her terribly.
Most of you will know by now that we took the plunge and bought our very own cherry picker. That has been a real boon and service to our customers. We now have the ability to respond quickly to any request for work at height without the need to chase round for a suitable machine; this brings our fleet to 7 vehicles.
We had fun attending the annual Window Cleaning Show and learned a lot about the future thinking of our industry. We also attended the CSSA Ladies Day. We were shortlisted for the “We are Wakefield” awards and hope to go one better in 2023.
We incorporate in our company policy, supporting local charities and sponsorship, and do something every month. It’s our way of putting something back into our community and engaging with people doing something that we think is worthwhile and should be encouraged and supported this is a brief list of events we helped during 2022
