Giving Back to Our Community: A Look Back at 2024

Supporting our local community and giving back to good causes is something we’re deeply passionate about at Phoenix Cleaning Company. We’re proud to give back by partnering with at least one organisation each month, helping to make a difference where it’s most needed. 

A huge thank you to all of our customers in 2024 – your continued support is what enables us to assist these charitable causes. Last year, we were fortunate enough to work with a range of incredible organisations, and we’re excited to continue this journey of giving in the year ahead.

Here’s a look at some of the wonderful causes we’ve supported over the past year:

January

  • Free Cherry Picker Hire for the Maypole Committee for the repair of the metal pulley mechanism on the maypole in Gawthorpe.
  • Match Ball Sponsorship for Morley Town FC.
  • Supporting Children’s Heart Surgery Fund through Matthew Greenwood’s annual Bin Dipping challenge.

February

  • Boundary Sponsor and Match Day Sponsor for Ossett Cricket Club, supporting a local sports club that brings the community together. 

 

March

  • Sophie completed a 22 mile sponsored Walk for Give A Duck Day supporting a brilliant charity that provides support to children suffering with cancer.
  • Sponsorship of the UKHA March Meeting at Malmaison York.

April

  • £100 donation to Morley Rugby U9s to be used towards things for the team such as water bottles.
  • Gin sponsorship ‘Morley Ruin’ for Morley Beer Festival in support of Morley CC.

May

  • Player sponsorship of Olivia Richardson at Barnsley Ladies FC for the 2024/2025 season. 
  • Brochure advertisement for Maypole Committee.

June

  • Brochure ad for the Ossett Albion Football Gala to support the football club.

July

  • Brochure ad for Ossett Gala – Visit Ossett.
  • Team Phoenix participated in the Dragon Boat Race at Pugneys in Wakefield and made a donation to the rotary club charities.

August

  • Kit sponsorship for Ossett Town U12s.

September

  • Contributing a percentage of gutter sales from September to Leukaemia Care UK.

October

  • Paul participated in the CEO Sleepout to support the homeless and disadvantaged in Leeds.

November

  • Half day of free pressure washing for Morley Rugby Club.
  • Brochure ad for Eastburn Boxing at their home show.
  • Supporting World Kindness Day with a donation to Earlsheaton Starlites majorettes troupe. 
  • Sponsorship of the UKHA November Meeting by providing the drinks at the Marriott Leeds.

December

  • Contributions to Cash for Kids Mission Christmas, donating presents to children in need in the local area.
